This article will explain how to change your Windows account password through OKTA.
*** Before you begin, please connect to the company network from the office or via GlobalProtect VPN if working remote. ***
Step 1.
From your company laptop/desktop, open Google Chrome and navigate to atirestoration.okta.com.
Step 2.
Login with your username and password.

Step 3.
Once logged in, click on (1) your name in the top right corner and then click (2) 'Settings'.

Step 4.
Click on the 'Edit Profile' button. If you are asked to verify your password, enter your current password. If you do not see the edit profile button you can skip this step and go straight to changing your password.

You may be asked to setup a new security question. Select any question and an answer of your choice.

Step 5.
Enter your (1) current password, then enter your (2) new password. Enter your (3) new password one more time to confirm. Your new password needs to meet minimum password complexity requirements. Finally, click the (4) 'Change Password' button.

After clicking the 'Change Password' button there will be confirmation that you changed your password successfully.

*** You will need to sign in with your new password on your smartphone email and other applications.
*** Windows Users - if you cannot sign into Windows with your new password, try your old password. Then connect to your office's network for the new password to sync or connect to GlobalProtect VPN with your new password and your computer password will then be synced.
