Google & Outlook Sync for Mark1 Users
With the switch to Google from Microsoft we have setup Google to allow for Mark1 users to continue to use Outlook if this is their preference. We aim to make this process as seamless as possible with the switch over to ATI’s systems. The below steps will guide you through how to use Outlook with Google and some common troubleshooting steps if needed.
- First, if you haven’t already had Google Workspace Sync downloaded for you by either Able or ATI please visit this page and download the tool: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gssmo You will want to select the blue link under the DOWNLOAD .EXE FILE(Recommended for users) section
- Locate the file on your computer and complete the install please
- After installation please open your start menu and look for the Google Workspace Sync folder, you then will open the following “Set up a Google Workspace Sync user”:

- Next, please enter your full email address into the box that opens up. For most of you this will be your normal Mark1restoration.net email address(ex:cpringle@mark1restoration.net)

- This will open a browser window where you will want to allow the permissions for the sync:

- After allowing the permissions you will be prompted to setup some settings. Please mimic the exact settings below, you may need to hit advanced at the bottom of the box to see all settings:

**You do NOT want to import anything so please make sure that is unchecked. We already imported all your mail/calender/contacts over.**
- Next when you launch Outlook, if it asks you to choose a profile just choose the one that lists your email:

- When Outlook launches you will see all your information importing over from Google, this is going to take a bit of time so be patient if you don’t see all your emails and Calendar events right away. When the green bars are done loading you know you are all set. You can close this window and start working if you need to and let it sync in the background:

- If you have any issues at all please open a work order via your ATI Helpdesk button on your OKTA page.
