Fix Google Drive Crashing and/or Slowness Issues
Method 1
1. Click on the Up Arrow (Task Tray) icon in the lower left of your main screen and right click on the Google Drive File Stream icon.

2. Click the Gear icon in the upper right and select Preferences.

3. Click the Gear icon in this window.

4. Click View Cache Storage.

5. Click Clear Cache and then Done.

Method 2
1. First exit out of Google Drive File Stream. To do so click the app tray on the lower right side of the taskbar. Then click on the Google Drive File Stream Logo.

2. Click on the Gear Icon and hit Quit. If prompted with any windows hit Okay to proceed.

3. Open windows File Explorer
and type in the following %localappdata% and hit enter

4. Navigate to the Google Folder, then find the folder labelled DriveFS, Delete this folder

5. Open Google Drive File Stream again from the start menu and resign in. This should fix your slowness or crashing.

6. In case this doenst work reboot steps 1 through 4. After Step 4 completely uninstall Drive File Stream from the computer. Download the updated version here: https://dl.google.com/drive-file-stream/GoogleDriveFSSetup.exe Then install and sign into Drive File stream again.
