Exclaimer Cloud - Signature Testing
There will be times where users have an outdated signature. When a user has outdated information such as phone number, office address, or extension, it can prevent clients from contacting the user. Follow the steps below to test the signature after updating the information.
1. Open ADUC and select the user in question in AD.

2. Update the information that is outdated or changed (typically info in General and Address changes).

3. Hit Apply to apply the changes.

4. If a user's phone number needs to change, navigate to Mitel Connect Director in Okta.

5. In the search bar (near top left-hand corner), type in "dir". Select System Directory.

6. After the System Directory loads, hit the magnifying glass and search for the user.


7. Select the user with an extension and update all the phone number information the needs updating.


8. Hit Save (near middle right-hand side) to save changes.

9. Navigate to Exclaimer Cloud in Okta.

10. Click Signatures Rules Tester (near top right-hand corner).

11. Fill in the From (user in question), To (you or someone in ATI), Subject (test) and body (test) fields.

12. Hit the Test button and a mock, test email will generate showing what an email would look like along with its updated signature.

Note: It may take up to one day for the changes to take effect. If the test email does not show the changes, try again the next day.
