How do I fix the "softphone registration timeout" error in Mitel Connect?
If you get an error saying "softphone registration timed out" some features may potentially not work such as making an outgoing call, receiving an incoming call, or not having audio present during a call. Follow the steps below and it may resolve one or all of the issues you have.
1. Click the drop-down arrow under your name.

2. A drop-down menu should appear, click Logout.

3. After you've logged out, click the magnifying glass (located on the bottom left-hand corner next to the Windows button) and type in GlobalProtect in the search bar. Click on the GlobalProtect app.

4. A small window with a globe should appear, ensure the gateway selected is the one shown in the picture. After ensuring the gateway, click on the 3 little lines.

5. After clicking the 3 littles lines, click Refresh Connection. A pop-up will show and ask if you want to continue, hit OK.

6. Your connection will refresh and once it's completed refreshing it will show a globe with the word Connected.

7. Log back into Mitel Connect.

8. Wait about 2 minutes to see if the softphone registration timeout error appears. If it doesn't appear, make a test call and ensure all of the features are working properly.
