Assured Complete - How To Add Newly Purchased Equipment Into Database
- PRIOR TO ANY EQUIPMENT BEING ADDED YOU WILL NEED TO RIVET NEW BARCODE #, ATI PLACARD, and HOME OFFICE PLACARDS ON THE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT, ONCE THIS IS COMPLETE. PROCEED TO THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS.
1. Open Assured Complete.
- Each type of equipment is labeled with a “Display Name” used to keep track of the number for that particular piece/type of equipment as well as the office in which it belongs to. It also helps with populating particular groupings of equipment searches in the future. For example, an air mover from our San Diego office will be labeled “ (SD) A01”. - Depending on the type of equipment, you will need to perform a search to find out the amount of the particular equipment that is already in your office's database in order to properly label the display name for each new piece.
- You can do so by clicking on the equipment tab from the home screen and typing the office abbreviation followed by the equipment type signifier with an asterisk(shift+8) after. By doing this, you will populate a search for all of the equipment within your office for that particular type of machine.
- For example, if you work for the Phoenix office and are preparing to add a HEPA vacuum you would type “(PHX) HV*” in the search bar then select search and find out the last number that was used in order to properly give your HEPA vacuum the right display name.
- Once you have figured out the number in which to label your new piece of equipment you can continue to the next steps.
2. Select the “NEW” option from the “Equipment” tab pulldown menu on your home screen.
You will be directed to this screen.

3. Fill in Type, Display name, Status (will always be active), make, model, serial number, purchase amount (will be the same as the amount noted in the “type” section selected), default storage location
4. Click on the tab labeled “barcode” or if your screen is set up with the bar code section next to all the other information like the picture above you will just click in the box under “barcode” and proceed to scan your new equipment barcode. The number will show up in the box.
5. Click “SAVE” once all the following steps are completed.
6. If everything was completed and saved properly the program will automatically generate a number in box labeled “reference” above the “type” section.
After you have verified that a new reference number has been generated and all information is correct for the new item. Open “tracker” and scan the item into your office.
