Adobe Scan - General Overview

As a replacement for Camscanner, Adobe is a great app used to scan your documents to PDF. It can intelligently find your document and auto-scale it with clarity.

Follow these steps to use your app:

1. From the Home Screen, swipe up to go to the apps section. Here you can search or scan for the Adobe Scan app. Click on it to open.

2. You will open to a Welcome screen where you will click Continue.

3. Next, a prompt will pop up for using the device’s camera feature, select Allow.

The main screen will open the camera ready for scanning. Tap the screen when ready to capture.

5. Once you got a capture you like, select the photo icon on the bottom right of the screen.

6. You can now edit your scan before finalizing your PDF. Once you are satisfied, select Save PDF.

7. Select Share to forward your PDF. A few options are provided.

8. I recommend selecting Share a Copy to add as an attachment.

9. Next, choose how you want to share. In most cases, sharing will be done with Gmail or Salesforce.

10. Complete your sharing for that app, using the app you chose.
